What our Guests are Saying…
We were visiting Mackinac Island for our Tenth Anniversary in early July. After reading many reviews and looking at he websites, we chose the Cloghaun. We were not disappointed. The innkeepers, the location and the room were all as good as we might have hoped. I highly recommend this B&B. They welcomed us and made sure all our needs were met. They had useful recommendations for travel and dining and served a very tasty and full breakfast to get the day started. The Cloghaun is just one block off Main Street close to the Shepler Ferry dock. Our room had a nice porch/balcony to sit out on and enjoy the passing tourists and regular clip-clopping of the horse drawn vehicles. With the weather being a perfect mid 70’s temp and a slight breeze from the Straits, the porch provided a very restful place after a morning of touring and shopping. By comparison to many other options on the Island, I believe The Cloughaun to have been a bargain. Another unique place in a very unique tourist destination at a very unique spot of the world. Not to be missed.
